And the best part is A. R. Rahman who composed the music of this movie. He won two out of three nominations for the Academy Awards, including one for Best Original Score and one for Best Original Song for "Jai Ho". The song "Jai Ho" won the Oscar, which Rahman shared with lyricist Gulzar. This is a great honor for an Indian music director to be recognized and awarded with one of the most prestigious awards of this world. A nose up for our country. "O Saya" was the third nomination though it did not win. "Ringa Ringa" is also a good score.
