Rock On is a 2008 rock musical film written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by Farhan Akhtar. The movie stars Arjun Rampal, Farhan Akhtar, Luke Kenny, and Purab Kohli as members of a rock band. The story of the movie is excellent and received very good critical appreciation. Yet its performance in the box office was average. The film went on to win seven Film fare awards.

The original score and songs were composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Lyrics of the songs are penned by Javed Akhtar. Though the songs seem average, they have been greatly liked by the listeners. Well, that makes it a success still. My personal favorites are the title track "Rock On" and "Yeh Tumhari Meri Baatein". "Soch Hai" is good as well. Enjoy the songs.......
