Bombay is an award-winning 1995 Tamil film directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala. The film originally in Tamil was later dubbed to Hindi and Telugu languages. The movie is about a Hindu man who married a Muslim woman who face many problems due to the religious intolerance during that time. Manisha Koirala won the Best Performer(Critics) in FilmFare for the movie.
Mehboob penned the lyrics. The soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman. So obviously it has lived up to his standards. But with a song like "Tu Hi Re" in the movie, I am bound to say the soundtracks of this movie are awesome. "Kehna Hi kya" is no less melodious. I love the songs of this movie. You shouldn't miss on this one. Make sure you have heard this.
