Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a Hindi romantic comedy film, released in 1998. The film was written and directed by the debuting Karan Johar and stars the popular on-screen pair of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in their fourth movie together. Rani Mukherjee appears in a supporting role, while Salman Khan has a cameo appearance in the movie. The movie was a mega hit and I do not have count of how many times I have actually seen it.

The film soundtrack was composed by Jatin - Lalit. It features a long list of famous playback singers like Kavitha Krishnamurthy, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan and Shankar Mahadevan. Each and every song in the movie is popular. The songs of this movie turned out to be the most famous songs of 1998. There is no song which I can describe average or below average. I like the title track and "Ladki Badi Anjaani Hai" very much. Awesome songs.!!!!!!

Baazigar songs download 1993 (mp3)

Baazigar is a 1993 Hindi film directed by Abbas-Mustan, inspired by the novel A Kiss Before Dying. This movie was Shilpa Shetty's debut movie and Shahrukh Khan's first major success in a lead role. The movie also stars Kajol. The story of the movie is based on revenge of a young man against a person who caused the death of his father. It was indeed a good hit.

The film soundtrack turned out to be one of the most successful that year. The music was composed by Anu Malik. The songs are all good. "Ye Kaali Kaali Aankhein" is my favorite for which Kumar Sanu won the Best Male Playback Singer award in the Filmfare. "Baazigar O Baazigar" is nice to hear and had a nomination for Best Female Playback by Alka Yagnik. I'll be surprised if any bollywood fan is not aware of these two songs. Have a nice time listening to them...............

Jo Hum Chahein is a 2011 Hindi romance film directed and written by Pawan Gill. The movie stars Sunny Gill and Simran Kaur Mundi. It is a predictable story. Guy is very ambitious. Goes against a few ethics. Girl angry. Guy apologizes. Finally does he prove he truly loves her? Well, it received bad response in the box office.

The songs of the movie are composed by Sachin Guptha. Lyrics are penned by Kumaar."Abhi Abhi" and "Ishq Hothon Se" are soft romantic numbers and good to listen.

Tutiya Dil songs download 2012 (mp3)

Tutiya Dil is a Hindi romance movie directed by Amit Khanna. It is hard to just tag it just romance since it also talks about life, love, sex and relationships. The movie stars Suzanna Mukherjee, Nikhil Sabharwal, Naveen Kaushik and Sidhant Kapur. After being released in the beginning of 2012 it has fallen flat in the box office with poor response. Yet you get to hear some positive reviews about it.

The music of the film has been directed by Gulraj Singh and lyrucs are penned by Manoj Yadav. Nothing standout in the music and still some might find a song or two very nice. I happen to like "Satrangia Dil". Its a little different. Try it.

Lanka songs download 2011 (mp3)

Lanka is a 2011 action, crime movie directed by Maqbool Khan.The movie stars Manoj Bajpai, Arjan Bajwa and Tia Bajpai. It is the story of a woman who recounts her life of being confined to live as an unwed wife of an influential gangster.

Considering that the movie did not become popular the music could catch you by surprise. Not that they are excellent. But there is Sonu Nigam singing "Aap Ki Aahat" and K.K. singing "Barham Hai Hum". There is also Shreya Ghoshal singing "Sheet Leher". So naturally you can expect some standards. Try these. You might actually like one or two songs.

Ghost songs download 2012

Ghost is an Indian horror film written and directed by Puja Jatinder Bedi. The film stars Shiney Ahuja and Sayali Bhagat in the lead roles and also features Rahul Roy.The movie did not receive positive reviews upon release. Neither did it perform well in the box office. Since it was a horror movie it saved itself from absolute rejection. Not a good comeback for Shiney Ahuja.

The music is composed by Toshi Sabri and Akram Sabri. The music is on the whole average. No striking, attention drawing tracks in the movie. Though "Jalwanuma" and "Salame Salame" are quite decent and listenable.

Border is a 1997 war film based on the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. J. P. Dutta directed and produced this war epic. The movie stars Sunny Deol, Sunil Shetty, Akshay Khanna, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt, Puneet Issar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raakhee and Sharbani Mukherjee. It was a blockbuster hit and was widely popular. The movie is quite touching.

The music is composed by Anu Malik while the lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar. "Ke Ghar Ab Aaoge" is quite a good song. Have a nice time listening.

Umrao Jaan is a 1981 Bollywood film, directed by Muzaffar Ali. It is based on the Urdu novel Umrao Jaan Ada, written by Mirza Hadi Ruswa. Rekha and Farooq Shaikh play the major roles in the film. Rekha makes the movie special with her gorgeous stunning looks. Rekha was praised for her acting, but the box office returns were just average.
The soundtrack was composed by Khayyam and the lyrics were penned by Shahryar.The songs are just wonderful. With Asha Bhosle singing almost 5 songs the musical weight of the movie increases incredibly. I can tell the songs of this film can be added to the classic oldies which will remain in the minds of music lovers forever. Download and enjoy.

Bombay is an award-winning 1995 Tamil film directed by Mani Ratnam, starring Arvind Swamy and Manisha Koirala. The film originally in Tamil was later dubbed to Hindi and Telugu languages. The movie is about a Hindu man who married a Muslim woman who face many problems due to the religious intolerance during that time. Manisha Koirala won the Best Performer(Critics) in FilmFare for the movie.
Mehboob penned the lyrics. The soundtrack is composed by A. R. Rahman. So obviously it has lived up to his standards. But with a song like "Tu Hi Re" in the movie, I am bound to say the soundtracks of this movie are awesome. "Kehna Hi kya" is no less melodious. I love the songs of this movie. You shouldn't miss on this one. Make sure you have heard this.

Yuva originally titled Howrah Bridge is a feature film directed by Indian director Mani Ratnam and released in 2004. The movie stars Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi as three young men of different strata of the society whose lives are affected by a single unfortunate event. The movie is a gallant display of what the youth of our country can accomplish. I found it a little exaggerated though.
The music of the film is given by A.R.Rahman and lyrics by Mehboob. The songs are good. "Fanaa" is my favorite. "Anjaana Anjaani" is good as well. The rest dint please me very much. Give it a try though..........

Kora Kagaz is a 1974 Hindi film produced by Sanath Kothari and directed by Anil Ganguly. The film stars Vijay Anand, Jaya Bhaduri, A.K. Hangal, Achala Sachdev and Deven Verma. The films music is by Kalyanji Anandji. The title song "Mera Jeevan Kora Kagaz" was by Kishore Kumar. The song is a very sad but meodious one.
 Lata Mangeshkar won the Best Female Playback Singer National award for the song "Roothe roothe piya". Though Kishore Kumar was also nominated he did not win. I personally feel the title track does deserve an award.

Rang De Basanti songs download 2006 (mp3)

Rang De Basanti is a 2006 drama film written and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. It features an ensemble cast comprising Aamir Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Madhavan, Kunal Kapoor, Siddharth Narayan, Sharman Joshi, Atul Kulkarni and British actress Alice Patten in the lead roles. A movie which portrays the situation of corrupt governance in India against which a team of young friends wage war for justice for their dead friend who was in the air force. Another movie which rouses patriotism in its viewers.
The music is composed by A. R. Rahman and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi. The songs are really very good and it won many awards and nominations to the film including Academy award nominations and filmfare awards. Well the film has a song saying Loose Control in the beginning and "Khoon Chala" towards the end. So its not actually about loosing control, but rather a message to the youth to gain control. But you can loose control now and enjoy the songs :-)

Dil Chahta Hai songs download 2001 (mp3)

Dil Chahta Hai is a film written and directed by then-newcomer Farhan Akhtar and released in 2001, starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia. It is set in modern-day urban Mumbai and focuses on a major period of transition in the lives of three young friends.
The songs are all wonderful with lyrics by Javed Akhtar. Music is given by the famous trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. Some songs are real lively and mood lifting. Personally speaking the title track "Dil Chahta hai" and the song "Kaisi Hai Ye Rut" are the best. "Tanhayee" sung by Sonu Nigam is excellent as well, but it sounds too sad for me.

The film won three National Film Awards, including Best Film on National Integration, catapulting Ratnam to national acclaim. The film also gained international acclaim with its nomination for Best Film at the Moscow International Film Festival. The film was recently re-released for international audiences in light of the growing fear of terrorist attacks across the world.
The film's successful and acclaimed score and soundtrack were composed by A. R. Rahman, who debuted in Tamil as a music director with this film. This soundtrack is among the "10 Best Soundtracks" of all time listed by TIME magazine, issued in 2005.
