3 Idiots is a 2009 comedy film directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra. The movie stars Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Omi Vaidya, Parikshit Sahni and Boman Irani. It was loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat, though it is my opinion that the novel is more practical. The movie was a super hit, becoming the highest grossing movie of the year. It also won 6 Filmfare awards and 16 IIFA awards. The film is more of an inspiration to all those curriculum ridden students of our country who are missing on a lot of life.

The film's soundtrack is composed by Shantanu Moitra with lyrics penned by Swanand Kirkire. The songs are quite good. "All Izz Well" song became very popular and I still remember my friends telling that line every now and then. "Give Me Some Sunshine", and "Behti Hawa Sa Tha Woh" are also good tracks.
